The Law Enforcement Practical Shooters Group (LEOSPG) was forged in 2025 from a truth too important to ignore: when training fails to meet reality, reality wins. A handful of driven, relentless professionals saw the widening gap between the skills officers needed and the training they received—and they refused to look the other way.

What began as a small circle of like-minded believers quickly grew into something bigger, louder, and stronger. A movement. A shift. A new standard. Across Federal, State, and Local agencies in the tri-state area, officers stepped forward—choosing challenge over comfort, discipline over complacency, and performance over excuses. Practical shooting, USPSA/PCSL competition, and high-intensity skill development became not just training, but a mindset.
 

But this isn’t a regional effort anymore. This is a mission with national purpose.

We are pushing forward—one officer, one department, one range day at a time—until performance-driven training becomes the new expectation across the country.

Because when the moment comes…and it always comes…skill matters. Preparation matters. Action matters.
